Extension of the tour route at Raduň Chateau
This year Raduň Chateau plans to extend its tour route to include the two dining areas – the masters’ and the servants’ rooms. Visitors will thus be able to see for themselves the dining habits and customs of both the noble family and their servants.
Antique mechanical toys in Mělník
A new, long-term exhibition of electric model trains and construction kits, such as those of the Merkur (Metropol), Edison, Vašek and Märklin companies, in the Regional Museum at Mělník. Two rooms have been prepared for visitors, full of historical electric model trains, metal constructor kits, children’s model steam engines and clockwork mechanical toys. The exhibition also includes a demonstration journey of the electric model trains through a miniature model landscape.
Babylon Wellness Centre
A new wellness centre has opened to the public in the Babylon Centre – Liberec. It is the first public wellness centre in the Czech Republic and the country’s first wellness centre in a non-spa town. It is also a first within the new concept of body and spirit relaxation. Great emphasis is placed on recreating the atmosphere of an ancient spa.
Riverside Hotel in Prague
The five-star Riverside Hotel, with its unique Art Nouveau facade, is located on the left bank of the Vltava River, not far from the Dancing House, National Theatre, Charles Bridge, and other historic and architectural treasures of Prague.
The reconstructed Chotoviny Chateau
Chotoviny Chateau in Southern Bohemia, not far from Tábor, has been reconstructed and is open to the public for occasional events. The chateau is suitable for wedding ceremonies, congresses, conferences, seminars, exhibitions and other events, including accommodation. The chateau is surrounded by a French garden and a protected English park.





Literature lovers know Lipnice nad Sázavou as the place where author J. Hašek lived the last years of his life and where he wrote his most famous works, The Fateful Adventures of the Good Soldier Švejk. Its house with exhibits is located directly beneath a rocky ridge, on which one of the largest Czech castles was constructed at the beginning of the 14th century.
The main attraction of Kroměříž, the town nicknamed the Athens of Hanacko, is its archiepiscopal chateau, which along with the chateau gardens and flower gardens are on the UNESCO list of worldwide cultural and natural heritage sites. For hundreds of zears, the chateau served as a residence for the bishops of Olomouc, and a series of important events occurred within its walls. There are also many other sites worth seeing in Kroměříž, such as the pontifical mint, featuring a collection of church issued coins and medals, the Baroque Church of St. John the Baptist with its interior in Rococo style and the house with a Renaissance entrance section on Velké náměstí square, which houses exhibits of the Kroměříž Museum and a monument to Max Švabinský.
Rock, pop, jazz, metal, hip hop... Audiences at summer open-air festivals will enjoy these and other genres. The schedule of events taking place under the open sky this year is once again truly great, and music fans thus can look forward to an eventful summer.
